Mission
The HELPS Ministry of Alice Drive Baptist Church exists to provide assistance to widows, single parents (including spouses of deployed military members) and the elderly in the Sumter area, who have needs that they are not capable of accomplishing themselves. The works of this ministry are spread by its four teams: Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John.

The HELPS ministry responds to various types of requests to include, but not limited to, the following:
·Car rides to appointments
·Cleaning
·Indoor/Outdoor Construction
·Wheelchair Ramp Installation
·Yard Work
·Moving/Relocating
·Sumter Outreach

Making Requests of HELPS
Upon contacting the Director, he and/or designated representatives will visit the request site to determine if the need is valid, and if HELPS can meet your need. If HELPS can meet the need, the request is sent forward to the Alice Drive Baptist Church staff to approve and fund. Then, your need will be accomplished as soon as possible.
