FirstServe is a no-strings attached ministry designed for people to test a service opportunity once before committing to it.  This allows a person to find out how a particular area of ministry works and see if their gifts and personality are a comfortable fit for it.

Weekend Service Opportunities:

The weekend services are a big deal at Alice Drive.  This is the time where more people come through the doors than any other time during the week.   Therefore, we go out of our way to make sure every person experiences genuine hospitality and knows the different opportunities that the church offers for their spiritual journey. 

Worship Choir - The Choir practices every Wednesday night in the auditorium from 7:30 - 8:30 PM.  No auditions or prior experience required.  Free Childcare is provided.

Ushers - The ushers are responsible for handling the logistics of Sunday morning such as collecting gifts and passing out bulletins.

Greeters - Nothing is more welcoming than a friendly face to help make your experience at church the best that it can be.  Greeters are responsible to welcome people and let them know how to find their way around Alice Drive.

Parking Assistants - Our great team of parking assistants are responsible for making sure every car gets in and out of the parking lot in a safe and efficient manner.

Hospitality Team - Does it drive you crazy when you see a stray napkin or packet of sugar laying on the ground?  If so, this team is for you.  The hospitality team is responsible for making sure that the church facility stays in tip-top shape on Sunday mornings in order to give every person a great experience in a clean, welcoming environment.

Children:

Xtreme Kids: Do you love working with kids? If so, Xtreme Kids is the place for you.  Every Sunday morning, during both the 9:45 and 11:00 AM services, 1st through 5th  graders gather together to learn about God, meet new friends, and most of all – HAVE FUN!

Childcare: The nursery is open during all three morning services: 8:30, 9:45 and 11:00.  Our children's ministry team can help each volunteer to determine their own frequency of involvement from every week to every couple of months.

TheMix - Every Wednesday night, over 100 students come together for a nights of fun, food, and fellowship.  CrossTalk is designed to be a friendly environment that allows students to come together and worship in a youth-driven setting. Jr. High meets from 6-7pm and Senior High meets from 7-8pm.  Volunteers are needed to help interact with and mentor students.

Weekday FirstServe Opportunities:

Prison Ministry - Every week Alice Drive sends out adults who minister to those in jail by leading Bible studies and engaging in conconversation with inmates.  However, for those that are not yet comfortable going into the jail, there are opportunities to help in the comfort of your own home, by grading weekly Bible studies for the prisoners.
