Why does ADBC do Bible Community Groups? We believe that groups are where significant life change occurs. Bible Community groups are where real life and real issues are discussed. This is the environment where we celebrate the successes and good times of life, as well as comfort one another during the tough and disappointing times. It is a place to be encouraged, equipped, and challenged to become a fully devoted follower of Jesus Christ. How do they work/function? 8-15 people or 5-7 couples join together to experience life; to share joys and sorrow; to encourage one another and to walk together on your spiritual journey with Christ. There is a leader to guide discussion and there is an expectation of preparation. Who are groups for? Everyone! Will there be childcare? Excellent child-centered learning opportunities are provided during all Bible Community meeting times. Why should I take part? Be a part of something bigger than yourself. To experience the love of community. To answer questions that you have been searching for on your own. How do I get involved? Come to the East Desk in the church lobby and pick up a groups guide. For additional information or to sign up for a class, just email Clayton Smith. |
